Very unlikely but: Wellbutrin (bupropion) causes seizures in about 1 in 1000 people who take 300 mg or less. The incidence of seizures increases with higher doses. Marijuana actually reduces risk of seizures. Many people who suffer from seizures poorly controlled by drugs finds marijuana often helps them far better than meds. If someone on 150 mg of Wellbutin & marijuana has a seizure it's probably not caused by taking them. ...Read more
What medication can a person with petit mal epilepsy if they take Latuda (lurasidone) for their paranoid schizophrenia and autism?
Oooh, good question: The two most commonly prescribed meds for absence (petit mal) epilepsy are ethosuximide and valproate. With dose adjustments both may be managed. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

How successful is Abilify (aripiprazole) in managing schizophrenia / schizoaffective disorder with jealousy type delusions?

"deviant" is here a difficult word to understand--whether you mean it colloquially or in an older sense referring to abnormal (now called "paraphilic"). But in general, impulses of many kinds--sexual, aggressive, risky--that one might not want to act on can be disinhibited and exaggerated by both. ...Read more
