You should ask your doctor if there is a more appropriate antibiotic (based on culture and sensitivity) that can treat your infection without giving you a yeast infection. I: I am glad that you had the prior evaluation. If you were not tested for chalmydia and gonorrhea then you should be tested for those too. In addition please be sure your pap smears are up to date. If you had any exposure to syphilis, this should be tested as well. If your urinary symptoms are ongoing, then please see a urologist for an evaluation as well. One possibility is interstitial cystitis, but there are other urological problems that can cause these symptoms as well. ...Read more

Testing: No reason to be stressed. This is an easy problem to fix. Schedule a visit for an official urinalysis and urine culture. This will detect if an infection is still present. If other tests are needed then those can be done. The presence of WBCs may or may not indicate an infection or problem. This is a nonspecific finding. ...Read more

Maybe: This depends on what you are using the Ciprofloxacin for. It will not cure yeast infections and may prolong the yeast infection or create an environment for reinfection after treatment.
