I have fine, long,color treated hair. Have seborheic dermatitis. Can I use coconut oil/ conditioner b4 washing w/ coal tar shampoo? Shampoo is harsh!

Will stain: Several dandruff shampoos are useful. Besides tar you can get selenium sulfide, ketoconazole, salicylic acid, and zinc pyrithione shampoos. The generics are just as good but cost less.
