Does Caffeine Weaken Your Immune System
My 15-year-old sister with a strong immune system took 1, 430 mg of caffiene, 121 grams of acetaminophen, and 121 grams of aspirin. Will she survive?
Cannot say: She definitely has a hard road ahead of her medically. If she is being treated aggressively in an ICU or progressive care unit at a hospital that treats a lot of pediatric/adolescent patients and has GI specialist, cardiologist and intensivist, she has a reasonable chance. Might require liver transplant and/or kidney dialysis support. Pray for her. ...Read more

Can flu shot weaken your immune system to where you can catch sinus infections? My wife thinks that she want me to try just one year to go without
Urban myth!: Influenza immunization has no effect on the immue system, except to help make the recipient immune to flu. It doesn't cause a minor case of influenza, fever, or anything like that; and it doesn't raise the chance of sinusitis or anything else. It is irresponsible to not get vaccinated against flu on account of such things. OTOH, we're almost at the end of flu season, so it may be too late to help. ...Read more
Genital warts - caused by the hpv virus - are common and contagious, but they are not dangerous.
A person's body mounts an immune response to the virus, but is usually unable to kill the virus and the warts they produce.
The overall immune system is not affected and immune responses to other bodily threats will not be adversely affected.
