There are legions of people who will swear by it, and even more legions who eat white rice without thinking twice, every day. Calories=cooked: Measure the product after it is cooked for accurate calorie information. Cooking only adds water, btw, it doesn't affect the nutritional value. If you use parboiled rice or parboil it yourself, the glycemic index goes down a bit (the extent to which your blood sugar rises), which is a good thing. ...Read more
