Can bread cause constipation? Is this true that tthe flour used in making bread known as maida causes constipation?
No; unknown : Bread, in & of itself, does not cause constipation. However, bread that is made of highly refined grains, such as maida, lacks enough fiber necessary to prevent constipation. Maida appears to be a highly refined wheat flour w/o any fiber. Thus, consumption of highly refined grains such as breads made from maida (common to india) can increase risk for constipation. I liter: Is inadequate fluid intake for a young person and with your exercising. Should be more like 2 1/2 to 3 liters per day and thats assuming you are not taking caffeine or alcohol.
