Does Body Temperature Increase After Embryo Transfer
How soon after sex is an egg fertilized? How soon after fertilization will your basal body temperature rise and implatation bleeding appear?
Varies: The egg typical survives and awaits fertilization in the reproductive tract for up to 24 hours. Basal body temperature rises not from fertilization but from the increase in Progesterone as a result of the lh surge at the time of ovluation. This surge is what is detected in home ovulation predictor kits. Implantation bleeding is inconsistent sign of pregnancy but can occur 1week after fertilizes. ...Read more
Embryo transfer (also et, set. Fet, etc) refers to placing one or more human embryo(s) (multi-cell or blastocyst) into the uterus of a woman trying to become pregnant. Et is the final step in an ivf cycle, and is done in some other circumstances as well. It is extremely safe, mostly comfortable, and usually not technically difficult. Experts agree on its importance, but ...Read more

Several things: Bleeding post transfer can be caused by a friable, or cervix thats bleed easy, a small bleed behind the gestational sac, following intercourse, the loss of a twin and/or signs of an early miscarriage and a difficult et. If you have any bleeding, contact your doctor immediately. And remember, it may not be a bad sign. Probably would consider starting Progesterone to help quiet the uterus. Good luck. ...Read more
Day 8 after embryo transfer, bleeding and cramping. Stomach starts bleeding on day 8 after embryo transfer. Is there any hope?
If the Hcg titre is 78.87, measured 12 days after embryo transfer of 2 embryos, 3day post fertilisation, both are8 cells. Is this level good or low?
Very early: It is good that you have a positive pregnancy test. Not many other conclusions can be made form this limited information. Usually the doctors will check the BHCG over a few days to establish a normally rising trend. Eventually ultrasound will be done to verify a normal pregnancy ...Read more
Is it true that basal body temp. lowers to pre ovulation phase temp. after placenta takes over from 12 weeks of pregnancy? Whts the science behind?
Transferred two embryo in ivf. 5 week pregnant without bleeding. On first u/s one sacs in my uterus and another is disappear, do body reabsorb embryo?
Not much: Unless there is a significant deficiency of iron in the mother, there is no impact on the baby. Iron deficiency in the mother can cause significant anemia in the mother however and can lead to the possible need for a blood transfusion. An increase in iron, unless associated with a medical condition, will not cause a problem. ...Read more
Well....: first, it certainly means you are pregnant. I suspect that number seems high and multiple pregnancies raise HCG, so, I suspect multiple pregnancies, while more than 3 is theoretically possible, 2 or 3 is what the result will be BUT, in any conception, the risk of very early embryo loss is quite high, so, successful pregnancy likely, multiple is likely and, you WILL need ultrasound in a few weeks ...Read more
5 day blastocyst fresh embryo transfer and estrogen is elevated around 3000 and progesterone around 240 with no supplementation. What are it effects?
Could be several: An estrogen that high means you responded quite well to infertility meds. You will need to be careful of hyperstimulation syndrome where you can get: 1. Excessive bloating 2. Nausea 3. Emesis 4. Weight gain be on the look out for rapid weight gain! the Progesterone that high is a value not routinely obtained. Values above 20 are considered normal. ...Read more

6th day embryo transfer body temperature 36.5~37.1 c. from collected egg until now is it normal ? it's positive or negative sign?
Probably not: Probably should not have gas after an embryo transfer but if you were anxious leading up to the procedure, which is completely understandable and expected, you might have done a little month breathing and got some extra air in your stomach that you are now passing. I would not worry to much. Good luck and i hope this helps. ...Read more
