I was losing hair all over the scalp, then I was diagnosed with Biotin deficiency. Can biotin deficiency cause hair loss all over the scalp?
Unless you were eating raw eggs, it is very unlikely that you had biotin deficiency. You may take Biotin supplement, it will not do harm, but it is not likely to reverse hair loss. See this site for more info.
