Burning sensation feeling on skin over pelvic area. No other symptoms. Is this nerve damage or just caused from health anxiety and stress? Ovarian cyst

It depends: The pelvic area is from navel to upper thighs. Are you saying lower abdomen or lower back/sacral area; deep or on the skin? Burning sensation on head scalp mix with liquid feeling when I'm stressing really bad with bad anxiety. What to do?

SOUNDS UNCOMFORTABLE: Might be time to reduce stress and also see your dr. If stress does this talking with a psychotherapist seems right. Meds might help. Over several months meditation will help too. Lots of things can help so find someone who can assist you in making changes. I'd try a good psychotherapist for starters. ...Read more

Talk to your Dr.: This could be a symptom of your anxiety, but it could be something that needs immediate medical attention. Call your dr. And explain your symptoms. Headache on the area where guys have there landing strip the scalp has a burning sensation, neurologist says its nothing, anxiety he says?

Hard to second guess: If you had a neuro exam, it is hard to second guess. You could always get a second op, but would need to have an exam and thorough account of your history. Headache in this area (if muscle tension) can, in some cases, be alleviated with botox. ...Read more

Burning sensation/pain in lower center of chest not relieved by antacids, w/racing ❤️ and nervousness. Could this be anxiety or something else?

Yes: It's possibly anxiety in a body that has a physical sensitivity in those areas. Consider a good psychological eval to help Dx before taking an anxiety Rx since they can have side efx and be hard to stop. If you do need them, therapy can minimize the doses and duration. Also check for ulcer or other GI issues - it's possible to have both need attention. Best! ...Read more

Take meds as prescr: Sudden discontinuation of ssris is usually more benign than the old tricyclics, but clinical expeirence has found that some people do experience increased anxiety, perspiration, and sometimes sleeplessness with sdden discontinuation. Its usually easy to avoid this - take the medication as prescribed - use a weekly pill minder box if it helps. The ssris with shorter half-lives tend to do this. ...Read more

My GP has prescribed Efexor 37.5mg tablets for my anxiety I have only had one tablet and I have had a burning sensation in my legs and feet?

Thoughts: Anxiety is best treated by CBT therapy w/ or w/out medication. Decide together in Tx. Most GPs do the best they can, but they are not specialists. Best advice would be to let the GP know your reaction and stop the Rx at only one dose. More doses might begin to need tapering. You could just stop and seek a psychotherapist. Best! ...Read more

I keep getting a weird tingly burning sensation at the tops of both breasts. Not pain, discomfort. Doc says heart ok. Upper back pain. Anxiety. Ideas?

Probably ok: Your symptoms are unusual because there is tingling on both sides. If it was a stroke or a tumor, it would only be on one side of the body, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. It could be from anxiety, but that's an unusual way for it to present. There is a condition called myelitis, inflammation of the spinal cord, that could cause this. Ask your doctor to evaluate you with this in mind. ...Read more
