I am a 49 year old female with high blood pressure and additionally I ve recently been diagnosed as having iron dificent anemia I take 5 mg of ramipril in the mornings 12 5 mg of toperlol in the evenings for hbp additionally I ve started taking iron vitam
Additional iron supp: Your doctor can make sure that your blood pressure is controlled. If you have a mild iron deficiency you may need to take an iron supplement by itself. Most vitamins do not have enough iron in them so pick up something like ferrous gluconate over-the-counter and take that twice-daily. Check with your dr. To make sure that is okay.See 1 more doctor answer

Can an injection into my knee cause high blood pressure? The injection was five days ago...Bp soared to 236/116 four days after the shot.
Unlikely but..: Make sure your BP machine is working ok. Unlikely that a cortisone shot into the joint would increased BP but pain might increase bp, also if cortisone shot was into the tissues instead of joint it is possible that it would have a small effect on bp. But it sounds most likely that 5 days later, an elevation in your BP is most likely due to something else.See 1 more doctor answer
