Avoidance...: Symptoms may be related to lactose intolerance or gallbladder problems. I suggest either trying a lactaid supplement with breakfast or avoiding dairy altogether to see if symptoms improve. Secondly, i'd try eliminating heavy fatty food to see what impact that may have. Only if...: These are not likely to cause loose stools unless one has gluten sensitivity, lactose intolerance or milk allergy. All of these are surprisingly common. Whole wheat is no more likely than white flour to cause loose stools. The best way to see if you have issues with these foods is to avoid wheat/gluten and dairy for at least 2 weeks and reintroduce them one at a time to see how they affect you. ...Read more

Pricey solution : Soy based milk like products are lactose free & much less expensive.. A 16 mo cam also get all the calcium they need from a couple of tum's /day & just drink water. The other stuff in milk can be made up by a diverse diet. ...Read more

Could be...: But there are many causes of diarrhea. If the almond silk is the cause diarrhea should resolve within a few days of stopping it. Prove that almond silk is the cause of diarrhea by drinking it after diarrhea has resolved. If loose bowel movements return promptly you will have a pretty unambiguous answer.
