Singer off tune: Often times singers have issues which cause their voices to sound hoarse.Most often they are unable to hit their high notes and their range is off. The two most common problems are reflux and allergy. For reflux avoid spicy foods and follow a low acid diet. Avoid tomatoes and caffeine as well as chocolate. Not throat cancer: Cancer won't announce itself like this, especially at your age. It's a relatively slow-growing ulcer or mass that is cruelly subtle in its initial presentation.
