I have painful spasms at the base of my left ribcage; my abdominal wall sucks-in/releases in agonizing waves, 20m-8hr episodes. Worse w/ gas. Follows acupuncture "gallbladder meridian" nerves. Ideas?
No: Acupuncture provides only temporary relief. It works similar to the concept of purposely promoting pain in one area to block pain impulses in another area.
