Can be a really hurtfull toothache. Very painful for seconds and after go a sympton of high blood pressure?

Can be a really hurtfull toothache. Very painful for seconds and after go a sympton of high blood pressure?

Perhaps: There are many causes of a temporary increase in blood pressure, and certainly pain and stress are two of them. However, what would seem appropriate would be for you to see a dentist to determine the cause of you pain, and a physician to check you out medically. There could be other causes of your increased blood pressure. Untreated dental and medical issues don't get better on their own.

Can suffering from a toothache be the cause of a really high blood pressure?

Can suffering from a toothache be the cause of a really high blood pressure?

Maybe: If the toothache is accompanied with anxiety of having the tooth treated by visiting to a dentist, then it can cause a higher blood pressure. Anytime there is an infection in the body, it may cause higher blood pressure. However, this doesn't mean that there could be other causes for the high blood pressure. It is better to see your primary care doctor, as well as your dentist to determine cause.

I have always had low to normal blood pressure and I went to the dentist. Toothache can cause a little bit higher blood pressure?

I have always had low to normal blood pressure and I went to the dentist. Toothache can cause a little bit higher blood pressure?

Depends: Severe toothache can and does elevate the blood pressure, specially when accompanied by anxiety of going to the dentist. But, having said that, it is always more prudent to have your BP checked by your primary care physician. If they give you the go ahead, then make sure you have your teeth checked by your dentist, and have him/her treat any dental disease.

I have toothache. I went to the er, but they refused to extractthe tooth. My blood pressure is 170/91. I take Flonase andquinapril and I smoked a big cigar before going for the examination. What should I do?

What's your question: Pulling tooth may (not) relieve pain. Toothache needs to be addressed by dentist. The most that us non-dentists can do is offer some antibiotics for presumed dental abscess. But real solution is for dentist to evaluate & treat as deemed appropriate. In meantime, stop smoking & go see your family doc to make sure your high blood pressure is under control (although pain can increase bp).

Weight loss unneeded: If you are 5'7" and weigh 127, you do not need to lose weight. In general, if you are otherwise healthy without heart or vascular conditions, vigorous exercise performed properly will not cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure.
