It may be healing: or it may be getting infected. If it stops draining, or continues to drain but the liquid turns thick yellow or white, or redness increases in size, or pain or heat increases, go see a healthcare provider to get treated for infection. Maybe: A hard knot at the site of the lymph node excision could be fluid(seroma), blood( hematoma), infection(abscess) or possibly inflammation.
