Afraid I have sarcom on top of foot after bump and large bruise. Was told broken vessel after x-ray and cancer wouldn't bruise like that. Is this true?

Hematoma, not sarcom: You most likely have a hematoma (a pooled collection of blood clots underneath the skin), a common condition that can occur after a physical injury. It's more common if you are on blood thinners. Sarcomas are usually slow-growing lumps (takes months/yrs) . The only way to be sure is to perform a biopsy. Continue treatment, but talk to a doc who knows you well, esp if not healing. Or use HT Prime. ...Read more

Follow up required: If you have a knot which is not due to trauma, it can be cancerous(?sarcoma). But since you have just noticed this, it is too soon to tell which way it will go. Watch it for 1 to 2 weeks and check if it is increasing in size(ask you souse or friend to also put the fingers around and assess the current size. In case it increases in size over next 2 to 3 weeks, then you should go see your doctor. ...Read more

I have a hard bump on the outside edge of my knee. Not sure if its a bone spur or a cyst. I've had it for a while and it's painful when I press on it.

I've had a hard, immovable bump on my tibia for a few weeks now. It doesn't cause me any pain. It feels like part of the bone and is pea-sized?

Tibia bone bump: If you are a runner, or engage in sports with high impact you may have a periostitis or shin splint, or even a stress fracture. This is a result of tibial stress, and can cause a change on the tibial bone lining. Have a foot and ankle specialist x-ray the tibia to rule out a fracture, or possible bo ne tumor. An MRI would also be helpful to make the accurate diagnosis. ...Read more

11/4 I was diagnosed with a broken vessel/vein on top of foot after pain, knot, and bruising. Now, the bruising is fading but knot is purple. Was told X-ray was normal, showed soft tissue prominence lateral to 5th metatarsal. Could this be a sarcoma?

X-Rays Vs MRI: Plane X-ray of the foot is good for detection of a broken bone but it will not show the soft tissue problems like sarcoma. For the latter you will need a MRI test which is the best test to check for a soft tissue sarcoma. But you need to first go see your doctor and show him the knot that you are concerned about. ...Read more
