Did they do C&S on: The urine .Culture and sensitivity report on the urine, if they did , the result should be out by this time and they could change the antibiotic for you which will hopefully make better. ...Read more

One idea: If you have a fever and marked tenderness over the kidney, there's an off-chance that you have a staphylococcal kidney abscess. A second idea is a stone. Your physician knows how to follow up on these and other possibilities. ...Read more

Thoughts...: I'd want to know if the urine was clear looking or the urine culture clear. I would also look for other causes of your bladder pressure and back pain. Constipation can cause the symptoms you describe. Kidney infections can present with fever, one sided flank pain, painful urination and a positive urine culture, so what you're describing seems less likely to be that, but still possible. ...Read more
