Good question: I researched your question: the half life of extended release Niacin in Advicor (lovastatin and niacin) is very variable, & depends on gender, dose, & individual characteristics. A careful history and physical may reveal the source of delayed-onset sleep or early waking as stress- or habit-related rather than sleep apnea in adults. How do I know these are real medical doctors on this app?  Why would they give free medical advice?

Some do help out..: Checking on someone's credential is not that hard and there are software/ways to know whether or not someone does have a medical license or not. As you probably know, pharmacists, psychologists, phlebotomists, physical therapists etc...Are also on this website. I guess it is hard to be 100% sure, thus when in doubt, check with your own doc.
