Relax, see MFM.: If you are correct and your wife is only 3 months along, then poor fetal growth is highly unlikely. Erroneous dates of the pregnancy is a much more likely explanation for the findings. Seek mfm care to get more personalized answers. Not sure: I'm not following your question exactly. I think you are saying that the growth of the fetus at 3 months isn't what is expected. If you've only had one scan, this could be due to the original dates being wrong. If not, watchful waiting is about all you can do.
