Sounds like: An oxidation problem. Fuel + oxygen + vitamin and mineral (e.g. Magnesium) ==> energy. It is helpful to the equation to provide oxygen but you have to have the catalysts to oxidize the fuel. I suggest that you try adding a decent dose of b complex, magnesium and a multivitamin. Even if this is not the answer, it can do no harm. ...Read more

How can oxygen get in the Blood?

How can oxygen get in the Blood?

How it works: The process of oxygen getting into the blood goes like this. First we inhale air with oxygen in it. Little pockets in the lung called alveoli fill with the air and the oxygen diffuses into capillaries. This oxygenated blood then goes back to the heart where it is pumped around to the rest of the body. When it reaches capillary beds in our tissues the oxygen diffuses out into the tissues. ...Read more

What is the oxygen level a person qualifies a person to get oxygen paid for by medicare?

Not clear...: Medicare currently pays for <88%, but the nih is doing a trial to determine if o2 therapy really helps. There is reason to believe it doesn't. One big problem is the perception (by mds and patients alike) that oxygen helps if you are short of breath. It doesn't! shortness of breath or dyspnea have nothing to do with your oxygen level, and treating one will not help the other. Keep that in mind. ...Read more
