Having pain and a bit of bleeding, could it be an ectopic pregnancy?

Hard to say.: It would be much more likely to be a menstrual period. If you are pregnant, I would see your doctor for these symptoms.

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Varies: Bleeding may or may not occur with an ectopic pregnancy. If so, it usually is a little later than the expected menses. The bleeding is usually less and of a different character.

Can you get implantation bleeding w/ ectopic pregnancy?

Can you get implantation bleeding w/ ectopic pregnancy?

Implantation: Implantation bleeding is not really as common as the internet would have you believe. When it does happen it's usually 6-12 days after ovulation. A pregnancy test 7-10 days after unprotected intercourse is much more helpful. Implantation bleeding occurs exclusively in pregnant women. If you have a positive pregnancy test and are experiencing bleeding then you need prompt evaluation.

Confirmed ectopic pregnancy given a methatrexane shot yesterday now bleeding bright red blood when going to toilet what does this mean?

Confirmed ectopic pregnancy given a methatrexane shot yesterday now bleeding bright red blood when going to toilet what does this mean?

Call your MD: The bleeding may be the start of the ectopic pregnancy detachment or it could be coming from the ectopic pregnancy breaking through the tubal mucosa. You didn't say how far along your pregnancy is. Nevertheless, your treating MD needs to be informed of the bleeding to decide which scenario is the accurate state.

Anovulation bleeding or ectopic pregnancy bleeding? I've been anxious about ectopic for 2 months. Can all this be anxiety, all the pains I experience

Anovulation bleeding or ectopic pregnancy bleeding? I've been anxious about ectopic for 2 months. Can all this be anxiety, all the pains I experience

Take a pregnancy: Test. If you have an ectopic it would be positive. See your doc, get tested for cervical infection and consider the birth control pill. The anxiety will make you focus on worst case scenarios and can scare you out of reasonable treatment. Good luck.

Get re-examined: You need to have your GYN MD exam you to determine why the bleeding is occurring and whether or not you are pregnant again in the other Fallopian tube.

What to do if I have heavy bleeding over but pain during sex could it be an ectopic pregnancy?

What to do if I have heavy bleeding over but pain during sex could it be an ectopic pregnancy?

Painful sex.: Please start by going to see a gyn physician. A painful sex in early pregnancy can range from nothing very serious to potentially life threatening conditons like ectopic pregnancy. A ruptured ovarian cyst early in pregnancy can also cause pelvic pain which may get worse during sex. Please don't forget that a pelvic infection can also cause both pain and vaginal bleeding. Again go see a physician.

Hello im 7 weeks pregnant. Feels weird on right side. No pain no bleeding. Do you think it can be a cyst or ectopic pregnancy?

Hello im 7 weeks pregnant. Feels weird on right side. No pain no bleeding. Do you think it can be a cyst or ectopic pregnancy?

Probably Normal: In the absence of pain and bleeding, I would not be concerned about ectopic pregnancy. Yes, it can be a cyst. Most likely, your ligament is stretching because of the growing uterine size. Maybe an ultrasound will make you feel better Good Luck.

I had a ectopic pregnancy and had surgery one week ago to remove my tube. I've stopped bleeding and feel healed. Is it too early to resume sex?

I had a ectopic pregnancy and had surgery one week ago to remove my tube. I've stopped bleeding and feel healed. Is it too early to resume sex?

Too early: Yes, it's too early to resume intercourse after 1 week postoperative treatment for an ectopic pregnancy. Your body needs time to heal, at least 4 weeks. You also should use protection unless a pregnancy is wanted. If so, you can try to conceive after one normal cycle.

Can there be a chance if an ectopic pregnancy? Lmp was 5/28, had u/s on 7/16 and only showed an empty g-sac. No bleeding/no cramps. Sac meas at 5.3 wk

Can there be a chance if an ectopic pregnancy? Lmp was 5/28, had u/s on 7/16 and only showed an empty g-sac. No bleeding/no cramps. Sac meas at 5.3 wk

Low chance: If a gestation sac was seen in the uterus on your sonogram, then it is likely not an ectopic pregnancy. Ultrasound is never 100% so I suggest a repeat sonogram be done to confirm a heart beat at a later date. However, if no bleeding or cramping with a gestational sac in the uterus, you are likely on the right track.

Is it normal to experience light pain in the abdomen at 5 weeks pregnant? There's been no bleeding. I had an ectopic pregnancy 5 years ago.

Get an ultrasound: The problem with answering this question is the characterization and location of your pain. Your 'light pain" might have others, particularly males, screaming in agony, especially if you've had a baby already. If the pain is on one side or the other that's concerning; and not just for ectopic. You have several red flags, your age, prior ectopic, the gestational age, that an ultrasound can defuse.

Go to the Right Doc: You don't go to the ER for primary care or OB problems. You go to your OB or Gynecologist or Family Doctor. Please sign off of the internet and go see the doctor not the emergency room.

I am three days late, no bleeding light cramping for the last couple days. All HPT have been negative. Could be a pregnancy or an ectopic pregnancy?

I am three days late, no bleeding light cramping for the last couple days. All HPT have been negative. Could be a pregnancy or an ectopic pregnancy?

Repeat test: You should repeat the pregnancy test in 3-4 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. Alternatively you could get a blood test for HCG that will settle the issue now.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
Practice safe sex if you have sex.
Get HPV vaccine, if you are younger than 27 years.

Can corpus luteum cyst bring anovulation? If u have anovulation bleeding can you have ectopic pregnancy?

Can corpus luteum cyst bring anovulation? If u have anovulation bleeding can you have ectopic pregnancy?

No: A corpus luteum cyst is the cyst that remains after an egg is released during ovulation. If you become pregnant, that cyst helps maintain the early pregnancy. While you can have bleeding with an ectopic pregnancy, ovulation would have to occur in order to become pregnant in the first place.

If I have an ectopic pregnancy and it ruptures and causes internal bleeding can I lie and say it was a big ovarian cyst?

Lying: To your physician? One should never, ever lie about their medical history to the professionals caring for them. How you live your life otherwise is between you and your maker.
