What's normal?: No, unless you are a dog who is cooled by panting - it is not. You need to try intentional breath patterns to gain some control over it. Breath in thru nose a full amount slowly. Hold it for a count of 6-8. Then blow it out through pursed lips like blowing out a candle for a long steady count of 8-10 till lungs are totally empty. Repeat 5 times.
