I have had hypoglycemia 50-70 for years, I started a glutamine supplement and have had NO hypoglycemia. What could cause this?

Glutamine!: Glutamine is an excellent supplement for stabilizing blood sugar. See http://www.everywomanover29.com/blog/glutamine-for-low-blood-sugar-and-calming-effects/ and http://suppversity.blogspot.com/2013/09/glutamine-better-glucose-source-than.html However, a minority opinion is that too much glutamine can be hazardous; this is unproven but use the least amount that works: http://tinyurl.com/43jdub ...Read more

Is taking biotin 10, 000 mcg supplement harmful or will i still benefit from it. Also how much chromium should I take to benefit from it?

Not harmful, depends: Biotin is very safe; there is no known toxic dose. Im on 150 mg of venafaxine if i increase dosage above this i cannot sleep.I have been told chromium supplements would help me?

Chromium for sleep?: First, I am not aware that chromium supplements do anything for sleep. Second, i hope your venlafaxine is xr, if not then that could be part of the problem. Third, please talk to your doctor( a psychiatrist, i hope) about either changing your venlafaxine if that's necessary or adding something appropriate and effective for sleep. Somehow it doesn't sound like your doctor is hearing what you need. ...Read more
