Talk to your doctor about the headaches to help her determine if they fulfill the criteria for a migraine diagnosis. I don't usually order a ct scan if the history is typical for migraine and the neurological examination is normal. If the migraines are infrequent she may prescribe a triptan to be taken at the onset of the headache. If they are frequent, you may benefit from a preventive medicine as well.
