Should I wean my 6mo baby off her pacifier to avoid ear infections? She used pacifier at home but started getting infections once she started daycare.

Doubt it: Use or non-use of a pacifier is better determined by the emotional needs of the kid. I would equate the frequency of ear infections more to day care exposures than pacifier use. Baby is entering a phase where the ability to self soothe with stress/strangers/etc will be greater. ...Read more
