There's no way to know whether you are pregnant or not without a test, though many women will experience fatigue, breast swelling and tenderness, headaches, nausea/morning sickness, and/or frequent urination.
You can either take a home pregnancy test as long as it has been 5- 6 weeks since your last normal period, or you can go see your doctor and they can test you. A home pregnancy test is 97% accurate if taken a week or more after the missed period. A blood test can tell if you are pregnant as soon as 7 days after conception and a doctor's urine pregnancy test can tell if you are pregnant around when you next period should come.
There are other reasons besides pregnancy that can cause a woman to miss a period such as: stress, diet, excessive exercise or a hormone imbalance such as with a thyroid disorder or poly cystic ovarian syndrome. If you continue to not have your period or if they become irregular, you should contact your doctor. ...Read more

If you're a healthy BMI when you get pregnant but gain pregnancy weight and it causes your BMI to be in the overweight randge, is that unhealthy?
It depends/unlikely,: This depends on how much weight is gained during pregnancy. The average woman is expected to gain about 25 pounds during pregnancy and would likely still be overweight after it. So it's normal to be overweight in pregnancy. However, if the BMI was high normal before pregnancy it might be smart to have a diet and exercise program after the pregnancy. Best of luck. ...Read more
I'm pregnant and have always been overweight. I want to get fit during this pregnancy but have been told losing weight is bad? Even if it's overweight
Fit pregnancy.: Now that you're pregnant, this is not the time to begin any intensive exercise program. Light activity, such as brisk walking, would be fine. As well, a healthy pregnancy only requires an additional 300-500 calories daily, so take stock of your nutrition plan and don't overdo it with extra calories. Focus on lean proteins and complex carbohydrates. And prenatal vitamins. ...Read more

Is it normal to get a cystocele on first pregnancy at 27w? Not overweight. Stand and sit for long periods of time. Is there harm to baby?
No harm...: Cystocele rarely occurs in your described scenario, but not impossible. If it's, it would be very minimal or marginal. Clinically, it bears no harm to baby during pregnancy, but be aware that more vaginal deliveries may worsen the degree of existing cystocele over time. This is life and that is what we know about it. I need b.C. Pills only to regulate period, not to prevent pregnancy. Are progestin-only pills better than regular pills (w/ estrogen too) for women who produce too much estrogen due 2 being overweight?
No, not really b/c: There are other issues involved. If menses not regulated, not ovulating properly, making extra testosterone that converts to estrogen. The bleeding is likely gonna be worse on Progesterone only but you can do Medroxyprogesterone lat 10 days of the month if they don't come often. I will, at times give 7 days Progesterone to cause bleeding and clear uterus, the start the pill in cases like yours. ...Read more
