Rhogam is for RH neg: For Rh-negative preg women, RhoGAM is usually not administered until their 28th week of pregnancy, and then again within 72 hours after delivery. It is also extremely important for Rh-negative women to receive this injection after any miscarriage or abortion in order to avoid future pregnancy complications. Usually 26-28 wks: Rhogam typically offers about 6 weeks of coverage and it is generally recommended for rh negative women for "antepartum prophylaxis" at 26-28 weeks. Had 2 miscarriages since my last rhogam shot think I may be preg again do I need the shot or is it too late?

Had 2 miscarriages since my last rhogam shot think I may be preg again do I need the shot or is it too late?

Probably not: You should be evaluated for the need for Rhogam anytime you bleed during a pregnancy. At this time, you need to have a test for Rh antibodies that is standard with your first OB labs. If it is negative, you would only need Rhogam in early pregnancy if you bleed. You would then get a Rhogam shot at about 28 weeks routinely. See your OB. ...Read more

This does not mean the individual is in fact "Rh positive", and is only the result of the Rhogam shot. ...Read more

Depends: If the first baby was rh negative you did not need rhogram and there will be no problem with a future pregnancy.
