Do I Need To Call The Doctor If I Have Bleeding After My Baby Is Born
If it's a lot, yes: Bleeding after delivering a baby is normal. Moms who deliver in the hospital will usually have their blood count checked the day after delivery to make sure they have not lost too much blood. If, however, you pass a blood clot the size of a grapefruit or larger, or if bleeding is copious, or if you feel ill, contact your doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Should i call my doctor if I have worse pain I have a prolapse vaginal and see the doctor on oct 21 i will have surgey on nov23 why i had to wait so long ? Having problems going to the bath room too.
Unfortunately : Unfortunately most doctors have a very heavy patient load, and most doctors that perform surgical procedures only allocate about half of the week to them, where the rest of their time is spent in their office seeing patients. This means that the time it takes to schedule a non emergency surgery can be months, if not longer depending on the doctor and their specialty. I suggest if your symptoms are worsening and you are uncomfortable, you call the doctor's office and leave a message regarding your concerns. I'm sure the doctor will see you sooner than the 21st or call you with a new treatment plan prior to your surgery. Best of luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have an ultrasound tomorrow only, not meeting doctor or ob yet. My question is will i still have to pee in cup? And if so, what if i don't want to
Pregnancy: You will probably be asked for a urine sample. But unless the doctor has reason to be concerned about drug use, this will only be for urinalysis, not drug screen. Urinalysis tests for color, cells, sugar, blood, etc to make sure you're healthy beginning your pregnancy. These things can change as pregnancy progresses, so baseline measures are needed. ...Read more
What do you suggest if my son was born with gastroschisis and a week after his op to get it repaired.?
OK: Sometimes the abdomen does not have enough room to put the intestines and stretching is necessary. I don't see a problem especially if a Pediatric surgeon is managing the case. it is not uncommon to have to wait a little while to place the intestines back into the abdomen. This is a long term process and the GI tract has to become less swollen before feeding can begin. Patience is needed. ...Read more

I am 7 weeks and 5 days pregnant my baby do not have a heart beat, so what does this mean and how long can a baby go without one I have to go back to the doctor wednesday and thrusday to see what is going on. Please help me
Fetal Heart Sounds: The baby has a heart beat at 6 weeks. By 10-12 weeks the heart tones can be heard in the office. The most common reason for not hearing the heart tones by 12 weeks is that the dates are off. If the fetal heart tones are not audible in the office at 10-12 weeks an ultrasound will usually be ordered to make sure the due date is correct and to see the heart beat. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Most : Most states, including california, will not perform an abortion after a fetus is "viable" unless the mother's life is in danger. 5 months is pretty close to that limit. It would be very important to know exactly when you got pregnant and how far along you are in order to know whether an abortion is legally possible at this point. You can call one of the numbers i listed below for more information, medical care, and counseling. If you are concerned about being able to afford a second child and abortion is not an option for you, you can also consider adoption. I am 3 weeks pregnant. Previously lost all three pregnancies. Should I go to the doctors straight away or wait a little? What could they do to help?
Recurrent loss: losing 1 pregnancy can be by chance, however the lost of 3 pregnancies in a row gives you a diagnosis of recurrent pregnancy loss which might be helped by a doctor's evaluation. ideally this occurs before the pregnancy so that any anatomical problems can be ruled out. would not hurt to see a doctor early and get your labs checked. ...Read more
