After a heart attack and stent, how long before someone should be able to part in strenuous activity?
Depends: cardiac rehabilitation is used in those with coronary artery disease. Your question is dependent on a number of factors and there isn't a simple answer. People can have what's called silent ischemia depending on risk factors thus it is tough to tell withy certainty what is considered too strenuous for ones health. I'm not certain: That I understand this question. Do you mean is it common to itch at the location where the catheter was inserted during your angiogram and stent placement? In that case I imagine it would be possible, but not common. If you are allergic to any of the materials that are in contact with the involved skin, then I would expect itching for certain. If creatinine is 1.8 can angio and stenting be done or is it unsafe? What is the safest level of creatinine if person had a heart attack 15 days ago?
HIgh creatinine : With a creatinine (c) of 1.8 mg/dl, you have some chronic kidney disease (ckd). There is some potential for you to have some temporary impairment of your kidney function (kf) due to the dye used in the angio procedure. Discuss your c level with your cardiologist to see how you should proceed and with what precautions. Any impairment of your kf will probably be temporary, if it occurs. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
