I had a tonsillectomy 7 days ago and now there is a small amount of blood and it hurts when I drink cold water. Is this normal?

Depends: On several things, like pain tolerance, the amount of blood (small may mean a tsp to some, and a few drops to another!) I would call your Drs office and ask if they want to see you. ...Read more

Have had sudden spams like sharp pain on my left side for a while. Its a every now and then thing. It is like a quick bolt of lighting then goes. What could this be? I drink water have bowels everyday

Newer information has water intake equal to about 1/3 your weight in ounces, i.e. For your 120 pounds that would mean 40 ounces of fluids as a baseline. ...Read more
