Warts: Plantar warts and genital warts are both caused by hpv, however, they are caused by different strains of the virus. These different strains tend to stay isolated to only certain areas of the body. It is unlikely that your plantars warts caused genital warts or vice versa. ...Read more

Other options your doctor might offer include cryotherapy (freezing the wart), electrocautery (burning the wart), laser treatment, or several different topical chemical treatments.
