It's not good: I'm a pathologist familiar with correlations. This is most likely the fibrosis that precedes cirrhosis. If your personal physician cannot promise that your liver is healthy, it is time to stop drinking. Even if you can, the 8-14 drinks weekly that you describe is too much.
