Does fatty liver show up as "suggestion of coarse echotexture" on us or does that always mean cirrhosis? All my labs and other organs were normal onus

My husband was told he has stage 4 cirrhosis / liver cancer. Does that mean the cirrosis is stage 4 or the liver cancer is stage 4? Im confused, please clarify.

Ask his Doctor: If you are confused, there's little sense in you becoming more confused now. That is because there is a lot more about your husband's case which his doctor would know about, than we could from only the information available here. I am sure you are very concerned and upset about your husband and if he has cirrhosis, there are likely other issues as well. I am very sorry about your husband. ...Read more
