Hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids would not cause abdominal pain, but can cause rectal discomfort. Lower abdomen discomfort can be from constipation, urinary infection, gynecologic, etc. Needs an examination if not already gone to check for hemorrhoids or consider colonoscooy if you have not had one done before. ...Read more

Provider: Unless your hemorrhoids are bleeding, your PCP should be able to manage your symptoms. Adding a stool softener/laxative might help and getting suppositories specifically for hemorrhoids. If you can't see your doctor go to the ER. All the best. ...Read more

Piles of trouble: Hemorrhoids may be thrombosed (clotted) and swollen and painful. They can also prolapse and extend out of the anal canal. Try sitting in a hot bath to relax the sphincter muscles. A visit to the doctor for anoscopy exam seems reasonable to rule out other conditions. ...Read more

Not 4 gas or h'roids: Penegra is generic sildanafil which same as viagra. Is used for erectile dysfunction. It acts increasing blood flow into vessels by relaxing smooth (involuntary) muscle which in turn improves quality of penile erections. It could possible help relax anal sphincter ; facilitate release of gas but have never heard of it used 4 this. How about simethicone or "preparation h". ...Read more
