If can fully extend and flex with exception of that flex ion limited by swelling then observe. If doesn't improve seek evaluation. Hands (around knuckles and fingers not palms) become blotchy red/darker red/white now and then. Possibly temp / sun related. What does this mean?
This "appearance" is probably a vascular (circulation) issue. There is certainly no reason for concern since I do not believe this is associated with any medical disorder(s) Try asking again and attach some photos!!
