How long after tubes are tied do they naturally come untied?my tubes are not clipped burnt just tied
Tubal procedures: Simply tying the tubes in one place is more likely for the "knots" to come undone. Most surgeons like to tie the tubes and take a section of the Fallopian tube out leaving a dead space in between. Other procedures involve "burning"(cautery) the tube in several places or clipping them twice on each tube. All of the later named procedures are more secure and fail less frequently ...Read more
Yes & other facts: The blood supply to the ovaries can come in small or larger part from vessels along the fallopian tube. Increasingly, we find that tubal ligation (particularly cautery) or hysterectomy, leads to earlier menopause because the loss of blood supply to ovaries causes the egg supply to fall faster. Earlier menopause also means earlier end to ovulation and menstruation, but we are talking a few years. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

My tubes were tied. Had surgery cystectomy doc removed part of tube left some attached to uterus and some ovary, says i can get pregnant. Can i?
Probably not: There is always a certain failure rate with any form of tubal ligation; but if done well and having an additional part removed with your last surgery for the cyst, i would think that the odds are extremely low. Actually, I am not sure why he told you this and if there was a concern, why did they not remove the remaining tube. Hope this helps. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

During Menstruation, the egg gets stuck in the Fallopian tube and starts to grow to almost 5cm, causing intense pains. How can I solve this.
Does not add up:
You are a male so you do not have fallopian tubes. If you are asking for someone else, an unfertilized egg would not get stuck nor would it grow. It would be better to describe your symptoms rather than a self diagnosis.
