Eyelash growth: This depends upon the type of loss. If cut, burned, or by chemo, or otherwise lost with preservation of the lash roots, then the lashes will grow back. If lost from lid destruction or severe disease like advanced eczema, then regrowth might be spotty or not at all.

They grow back: If you just pull out an eyelash, it will grow back in about 3 to 4 weeks. If you break an eyelash while trying to pull it out, the broken eyelash will continue to grow. The only time an eyelash will not grow back is when the hair bulb is damaged, either by disease or injury.

Yes!: Lashes have a 4 month cycle. So when they fall out, they take 4 months to grow back to same size. Repeated plucking of the lashes however, may lead to damage and never coming back!

If there is no underlying cause pres ription Latisse (bimatoprost) can regrow thin eyelashes. Ssince it is prescription only you would be evaluated for the read on for the thinning eyelashes.

3 mo: Trimming eyelashes will not accelerate their growth. They function to protect the eye - so don't trim them. I didn't know the answer - so I researched it - reportedly 3 months on average.
