It's true.: If it says so on the label it must be true! As a doctor I can't say that makes much sense - most sore throats are viral and do last more than three days. If it is progressively worsening or is associated with serious side effects see your doc. Otherwise take the lozenges ...Read more

All supportive care: If you do have HFM disease, it's all supportive care. Pain meds (Tylenol/Motrin),plenty of fluids & what you are already doing. Sometimes Maalox can help with the pain if you hold it on the back of your throat. Popsicles and other cold liquids can help.
