Do Cold Sores Have Pus
I've tiny of what seems to be pus filled cirlces under my lip skin. I've googled vesicles and cold sores and it doesn't looklike that. What else can itbe?
Small salivary gland: What you're seeing is normal anatomy -you probably never looked this close at the underside of your lip. There can be many small salivary glands there that look frightening because we're just not used to seeing it... Hard to tell: Is it itchy or painful? Were you sick? Have you had cold sores in that area before? The only way to be sure is to have your doctor look at it. Either way it's not serious. Pimple most likely: From the description this sounds more like a pimple as it built up over time and came to a whitehead before it drained. Cold sores are usually more flat and shallow, moist looking and sting quite a bit. Either way, touch it up with a little Neosporin and avoid sharing kisses with anyone until it heals.
