Probably not: Do you have clots in both legs? Are your symptoms in both legs? It would be hard to imagine someone being so unlucky as to get bilateral mp. Unlikely: With just leg numbness. Blood clots in the veins would more likely cause swelling and pain. I suspect you have some pressure on a nerve. Meralgia paresthetica is pressure on the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve that can occur with tight pants. See graphic to see if this fits. Yesm: You should consult a hematologist as there is a contradiction in what you wrote. True, oc can predispose to blood clots, rare in these days but theoretically it is possible. Get checked by a --: Neurologist for the hand problem as it sounds like carpal t syndrome, and see your pcp or gyn to get evaluated for a pelvic mass, etc, causing a rt sided swelling, if a possible clot has been excluded. You may require an us scan of the pelvis for it.
