Hasn't been studied: Children living in homes where second-hand cigarette smoke is present have a higher incidence of upper respiratory infections, sinus problems and asthma, and get pneumonia more often as well. It is very possible the same thing occurs with marijuana smoke, but i can find no studies. Usually ok: Doctors usually don't give babies any medications, even over-the-counter items, unless there's good benefit. A mom can bring the items to the doctor to check the ingredients, but a little bit of a trusted brand of gas drops and gripe water drops are ok to try. They may or may not help any colicky symptoms.
