Can lack of sleep cause a elevated white blood count? No evidence of infection and no other symptoms

Elevated WBC: An elevated white blood count is usually the outcome from infection or inflammation. Lack of sleep will not cause an elevated white blood count. There must be another cause. Follow up with your doctor to see if any further testing is necessary. Good luck.

I am on vivitrol shot n vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) my liver enzyme elevated ast was 47 and alt was 82. What would cause this? My white blood count was a little high too

Many possibilities: Why vivitrol to begin with? Either hx of drugs or alcohol both if which affect the liver as does vivitrol or by vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine). Now depending on your past history I assume you have been checked for hepatitis. Many reasons for irritated liver enzymes. I am sure your doctor is monitoring

RA?: Something inflammatory and systemic. Could be cancer but also rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, etc. Can't say without testing. First stop would be primary md and then possibly a rheumatologist (joint specialist).

Can adrenal insufucienty cause high white blood count?

Can adrenal insufucienty cause high white blood count?

Not really: Patients with addisons disease (severe adrenal insufficiency) are often very sick. If the adrenal insufficiency comes as a result of sepsis (overwhelming infection), the WBC would be high. But most addison's is autoimmune, and the WBC is not high. Sometime one of the WBC (eosinophils) can be high. There can be other associated autoimmune problems that could affect wbc.
