Could be anemia: I assume that the pink spotting refers to vaginal discharge. Given you are female the remainder of the symptoms could be related to development of an anemia. If it is not around the time of your menses and you are spotting i would strongly suggest that you go be evaluated for possible pregnancy if you are sexually active; also CBC and iron studies to see if you are anemic regardless. ...Read more

Sinus: Yes sounds like you may have an infection. When you have the symptoms you describe for 3-4 weeks , this is probably a real sinus infection as aposed to what most people think when they have it for 2-3 days. At this point antibiotics are most likely needed, see your doc. ...Read more

Not infection itself: Prednisone helps many many situation, but unfortunately it does not help the infection, but actually may make it worse. However, severe infection can cause much imflammation and Prednisone is a very powerful anti-inflammatory medication, which can be quite helpful in case of swelling as in severe strepthroat, mono etc..It may help with your vertigo. There may be underlying issues, e.g., a deviated septum, or immune deficiency that would require an evaluation. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
