Last friday i ate shrimp and soon after experienced dizziness/vertigo. Dizziness/vertigo has lasted since fri. How long does reaction usually last?

Should be resolved: Most food reactions are immediate with GI discomfort, nausea, vomiting, possibly throat swelling and breathing difficulty. Occasional delayed, >24 hr, reactions occur. Unlikely an allergy: Dizziness and vertigo are unlikely an allergic reaction. Depending on if you have auditory symptoms or not, it can be due to inner ear / vestibular diseases or even a stroke. You should come see a doctor since it lasts for several days now. ...Read more

Probably migraine: Migraines are the most common cause of frequent headaches, and they are often associated with dizziness. Your otc pain meds are likely contributing to rebound/medication overuse headache, which causes the headaches to actually worsen in the long run. You should see a neurologist who can get you on a good preventative agent as well as a good acute agent (i.e. Triptan i.e. Imitrex) for the pain. ...Read more
