Dizziness From Dehydration
I've been having dizziness from dehydration & stomach flu, doctor gave me 1000ml of fluids & I've been drinking water how long till dizines goes away?
Another day, maybe: Usually young people such as yourself bounce back quite quickly from viral gastroenteritis. I presume you had IV fluids if you measured it in 1000 ml/1 liter. Dehydration?: Your symptom of dizziness could be due to dehydration and it also could due to something else. Unless you're in the desert, or have some uncontrolled loss of fluid, you should not be dehydrated. If you cannot "focus" you need to go to a emergency room to have your blood pressure checked and get some lab results to see if you're anemic or have another factor causing your dizziness.Good luck. ...Read more
S/S: Headache & dizziness. BP is 96/54(low for me), HR is 115bpm. Did some moderate exercise 5 hours earlier. Could this be from possible dehydration?

Realize: For a young person, unless you have some significant medical ailments or take medications that really predispose you to significant dehydration, chronic fatigue or sleepiness is unlikely to be the major cause. Certainly: Mild dehydration can certainly cause the symptoms you describe, but so can other things. If it's a now and then problem, just try to increase your fluid intake to 80-100 ounces a day.
