Very Possible: Abruptly stopping caffeine can definitely have withdrawal side effects. The most common is a headache and a lot of people who drink coffee at work get "weekend headaches" when they don't drink as much caffeine at home. To some degree it depends on what you mean by dizzy. Ditch the caffeine: It's unlikely that at 19 this is a serious heart problem. Caffeine can make people jittery and cause fast and sometimes anbormal heart rhythms. It sounds like you should stay away from caffeine. Stopping caffeine was a good decision. May want to further restrict food intake by consuming only a brat diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) to see if the diarrhea improves. Stimulant: Caffeine is a stmulant and if you avoid it a small amount can evoke a strong response--heavy users become tolerant and unresponsive--can drink a pot of coffee & go to sleep! you recognize it's effect on you--i guess the best would be to be careful to avoid it--might talk to your doc about a minor tranquilizer to keep in your pocket to counteract the effect when you inadvertently ingest some. ...Read more

Many things: could cause such spells, most common would be LOW blood sugar. Keep a careful diary of when they occur, what you are doing, when you had last eaten or drunk anything, and get an appointment to be seen soon if this is happening often.
