?gas: Bloating of the abdomen is usually due to gaseous accumulation although fluid build-up or enlarged organs or aortic aneurysm can cause abdominal distension. To relieve gaseous distension drink hot water and apply a hot water bottle to the abdomen which helps break down gas build-up and enables you to pass it.
