I have all symptoms of hypothyroidism, but blood tests are normal. plus a swollen thyroid left side. What can cause this? Hair is really falling out.

More likely a muscle: If you have pain when touching the area, it is more likley to by a mild injury to your sternocleidomastoid muscle.
