Have a distended gallbladder with no stones. Also have a lot of gas in abdomen. Is it related and what is treatment for distended gallbladder?

Is gallbladder removal the only treatment for gall stones?

No, but...: ...It's the most effective. Gallstones can be dissolved by ultrasound waves (lithotripsy) or medication, however, new ones will form. I have no gallbladder and now my liver size is increased and with fat on liver? Dr only said to take milk of thristle. Is their any treatment for that
