Ask your surgeon: Questions re complications, side effects, recovery, disability, etc should be asked of surgeon along w/(consequences of) options prior to undergoing procedure. Surgeon should also be informed of your particular requirements, eg return to work, job description, etc in order to make best recommendation. Likely Unrelated: It is quite unusual for someone to have pain in the back of the elbow after a shoulder surgery. Nothing is impossible, however, so i would bring it up with your shoulder surgeon at your next visit just in case. ...Read more
