Yes: The diet/medications that we use for people with stage 3 ckd can cause constipation. Use of metamucil or its generic equivalent is generally all that's needed to overcome this. However, this can worsen as the kidney disease progresses. Routinely incomplete: Primary driver diverticuli is constipation, delaying emptying (not straining) & largely subconscious. Straining just another symptom, after the fact & occasional. Not PCOS: Pcos does not cause pain. By definition pcos causes small less than 1 CM cysts not big ones which can cuase pain. I would see your primary care doctor and discuss irritable bowel syndrome.
