2 sessions: 2 sessions spread apart by a couple of hours could raise your metabolism longer than one long session. The idea is- after each half hour session- your metabolism will be raised lets say for 1/2 a hour ( a total of one hour of increased burning calories). If you work out for one hour- the after burning of calories will only be for the 1/2 hour, so youre better splitting up your routine. ...Read more

Mri reading need interpretation , focal swelling with heterogenous abnormal signal in the spinal coed atc5-c6 level suggesting neoplasm has improved?

Need to discuss with: As stated, this sounds as if you had a type of previous "neoplasm" and the test is showing an improvement in the swelling around certain areas of your neck at c5-6. Possibly the radiologist did not know your history of previous neck surgery in the area. I recommend you have the ordering dr discuss your hx and the findings with the radiologist and then discuss in detail with you. Best wishes. ...Read more

Hodgkin lymphoma, stage IIb, bulky. 130mm,after 8 cycle of ABVD, PET + , hypermetabolic mass and increase its size to 141mm! Why?Is Stanford V helpful?

Jury not out: There is ongoing trial to answer your question but previous studies suggest ABVD superior. That said, factors such as radiotx and personal immune response to Hodgkin D need to be considered. Fail cases to conventional chemoradiotx appear to respond to immune therapy, ie. During sleep background activity consist of symmetrically bisynchonous, fairly developed medium voltage 4-5 Hertz theta waves seen best posteriorly. ?

Normal for age: I suspect you've left out some additional information but this appears to be normal for his age to me. The posterior rhythm they mention may be a tad slow but then, again this is during sleep with eyes closed so it's fine. Are they looking for seizures or is he very lethargic? Looks like pneumonia is under condition so I'm wondering if he's battling with that now or that's a previous condition ...Read more

Yes!: Bingeing and eating disorders are like other addictive conditions where one can nevertheless develop strategies to live a full and contented life. If U need psychotherapy, I would recommend starting w' trained psychologists, psychiatrists or social workers. If therapy with an occupational therapist is needed, they will refer U ...Read more
